The museum, opened in 1991 and maintained by the Woodville Civil Club, features a photographic display of Wilkinson County scenes, a collection of 19th and early 20th Century Wilkinson County and Mississippi quilts, and celebrations of local historic properties.  The building which houses the museum was erected in 1838 as the office of the West Feliciana Railroad Company and is located on the southeast corner of the town square.
